Ds3 Anyway To Block Bleed Dmg

  1. Ds3 Anyway To Block Bleed Dmg Download
Hello everyone.
I know the patch just came out, but i'm looking for advices for bleed oriented characters:
When to go for crimson dance?
Is smart to ignore elemental damage and go full phys?
Bleed scale like poison with damage over time mechanics in my opinion. Should i take poison too?
Vulnerability curse is a must?
Which uniques are crazy good for bleed builds?

Tks for the help.

Step 1: you don't.
Step 2: make a VP berserker.
Step 3: ggwp.

Being constructive, take gladiator or zerker for classes, take alot of bleed and dmg over time nodes. Take Crimson Dance node.
Use weapon u want (i think axes or swords have bonus for bleed stuff) and use support gems that amplify bleed/dmg over time. That new skill gem Brutality or Ruthlesness have a bonus on bleeds so thats cool

I started with the intention of building a ranger(Deadeye) to this build, but the good nodes are really far away from the ranger starting area. I guess gladiator is really the best choice for a bleeding character. Also, with gladiator seems easy to reach 100% bleed chance.
I'll start using blade flurry as the skill gem so i'll stick with 1h sword and shield.

I have an Ex-Puncture Trapper Ranger (Ex because now my calculations show that Puncture is total crap and I get better bleed with Siege Ballista) so I have some experience with bleed.
It is a good idea to stack poison and bleed, as they scale on the same principles. Remember that most weapon nodes now give both normal and DoT damage, so they can easily become much more relevant for your DPS than pure bleed-poison nodes.
Forget about bleed chance, it only stacks once and it lasts for 5 seconds, if you are going for gladiator you already have at least 25% chance, way more than enough to get 100% bleed uptime.
Blade flurry is horrible as a bleed skill. Bleed only stacks once, so you need to get the strongest hit possible and even at max stage BF only does 123% damage, compared to Heavy Strike 194% or Vigilant Strike 203%. On the other hand, BF is great for poison, and that will be much more relevant in your DPS that bleed.
Vulnerability is the most powerful (and only really) curse to improve Bleed DPS, if you are certain about going bleed then it is a must. Maim is also extremely useful, given that you only need to bleed each 5 seconds you can use a main bleed attack and a support attack with maim in between.
TLDR: Even if you really invest into bleed, it is just plain not worth it as a core damage mechanic, better used as a support for bloodlust/gladiator bleed explosions. Poison is much more relevant and easier to work with.

Well i'm playin Harbinger SC with my maxblock 1h axe crimson dancer gladiator and have had great time so far (lvl 70, just finished off Kitava).
here's a look on my tree,
http://poeurl.com/br3I
i plan on using Soul Taker for it's dps and attack speed and also no mana issues, maybe Abyssus - but that's for when i get rich ;) Lioneye's Remorse as a shield (Rest in Breach, The Surrender). Amu is The Anvil, preferably corrupted with +block chance.
Main skill is sunder with multistrike, brutality, chance to bleed, melee phys dmg and i plan on adding ruthless as 6l, faster attacks would be good too, but ruthless gives that nice 100% MORE dmg from time to time to stack a nice bleed and stun for defence.
I run on blasphemy vulnerability and haste and use tempest shield with innervation and inc duration for a nice 20% chance to shock on block and additional 3% block chance.
CWDT goes with summon flame golem, blood rage and an empty slot for i have no idea what to place there yet.
Reckoning with fortify and life leech (? - just an accidental support, but may be useful) has movement skill on the other end, so both give fortify and heal a bit.
movement skill is either jump slam or charged dash.
Ancestral protector gives me that nice 18% MORE attack speed, so i can put those bleed stacks on mobs real fast. With this totem active, haste, blood rage with all frenzy charges and Soul Taker in hand, i should be able to put all 8 stacks of bleed in less than one second.
Just food for thought :)
EDIT: also, this build with a little more to life and less to axe dmg or bleed dmg, should be totally HC viable.

'Fortify' does not support triggered skills like Reckoning.

Currently also playing a physical/bleed character with:

Some thoughts and conclusions so far:
*The overall DoT damage feels somewhat low, even with crazy high percentages. But it helps a lot to finish monsters that were 'almost oneshot'. I always love to have DoTs in my builds, for exactly this reason.
*The keystone 'Crimson Death' seems counter-productive.
I used it for a while, but for me it's just straight-up better to use normal bleeds that don't stack.
With a movement skill like Cyclone you constantly force the monsters to follow you around, so they take the sexy 210% base damage once I touched them. Same applies to a 'ranged melee' skill like Sunder, you touch them, they still have to walk towards your position and take increased damage.
Yes, 'Crimson Death' scales up to 280% weapon base damage, but I'd rather not have to stand still and stack it up.
*I'm currently at 75% bleed chance, this is already more than enough. 50% should do the trick.
*To build a bleed character, I'd prefer a 2h weapon over a onehanded gladiator because of the higher base damage.
*Cyclone may also not be the optimal choice because of its low base damage, but Cyclone is such a great skill in every other aspect, so I still want it.
*There's several points in the skilltree were you have to decide between attackspeed and damage, like near the notable 'Destroyer' in Duelist Start. Usually attackspeed scales you overall DpS better, but in a bleed build, I'd go for the damage nodes.
*I wouldn't go crazy on pure bleed nodes. You get almost the same damage from 'normal' weapon nodes, but then you also get your physical attack damage. I took only 'Red Storm', it's 25% bleed chance, 30% physical damage and 20% bleed damage for 3 skill points, this really sounds worth it.
*This unique Whakatakatuka map is wonderful for a bleed dude.
You hit this crazy boss once, he's dead.

@up
You may have noticed that bleed is just an option in this build. - this could as well be Varunastra sword/axe/dagger build or anything else, just maxblock and max spellblock for super tankiness, and whatever suits u for dmg (last time i played gladiator with static strike)
So i wouldn't call this a 'bleed build', max block is more crucial to it.
Crimson dance works really well with sunder as each shockwave also aplies bleed, so they stack up REAL fast in groups - i usually see an explosion (from Gratuitious Violence) the split second i strike with sunder, and it applies to all those mobs - they just go POP :D
I totally agree that for classical DoT Bleed build 2h is way better, and crimson dance is a mistake. I just present a different approach ;)
regarding those bleed nodes (and also those bleed/poison nodes) - i agree this appears to be a little too much, but it has worked nice on bosses so far - after a second the bleed does as much damage as my attack or more.

Ds3 anyway to block bleed dmg 2

I'm not 100% sure, but I think, regarding dual katanas, only the main-hand katana actually has natural bleed buildup. I believe that was my finding testing it a patch + regulation ago anyway. It took me the same number of L1 attacks to bleed as R1s. So as far as bleed-focus goes, not spectacular. What is best weapon for bleed build? Ds3 after a long break and hearing this really makes me want to play with the dagger on my bleed build. They buffed base dmg. Use broken straight sword, you just have to upgrade it to 10 raw for the most dmg. Then get either the Storm curved sword or Dancer's swords. Though you can only use one of the swords at all time. Feb 09, 2018 A video of all DS3 bosses being taken down with the game's strongest Bleed build on New Game Plus 7. They say that this build was nerfed and is nowhere near this strong now, oh well, too bad for. Aug 13, 2017.To build a bleed character, I'd prefer a 2h weapon over a onehanded gladiator because of the higher base damage.Cyclone may also not be the optimal choice because of its low base damage, but Cyclone is such a great skill in every other aspect, so I still want it. Damage type is an important gameplay mechanic of Dark Souls 3.Damage is divided into two groups Elemental and Physical. Please see Status Effects for information on abnormal statuses that can be inflicted on players and enemies. All damage types are reflected in your AR (Attack Rating), which shows an average damage that the player may inflict on a target. If you really wanna bleed go for bleed infusion Luck scaling for for more damage bit bleed while bleed is the opposite. Mostly anything that have a bleed aux work when reinfused. But if you REALLY want a weapon Crovian scythe My favorite my jam. EDIT: After few runs and attempt to make bleed infusion work in PVE this is not a good idea.
